From Belleville, Collinsville, South St. Louis, etc.: If you are traveling from Belleville, Collinsville, South St. Louis, etc., take 255 north to Wood River. Turn left onto Rt. 143 going west. Go 2.9 miles on Rt. 143 to Wood River Avenue, next to the big water tower in downtown Wood River. Turn right onto Wood River Avenue. Go north 1/2 miles until you see the Roundhouse on your right. Continue past the Roundhouse, swimming pool and high school. Turn right on the first street past the high school (Chick Summers Dr.). Go (1) block, turn right onto Whitelaw Avenue (south). Continue for 1 1/2 blocks to the entrance on your right to the Roundhouse/swimming pool parking lot.
From Missouri via Hwy 67: If you are traveling from Missouri to Illinois on Hwy 67 across the Alton Bridge, turn right after you cross the bridge. You are on Rt. 143 traveling east. Go 5.2 miles to Rt. 3. Cross Rt. 3. Go over the railroad overpass. Go (1) more block to the second stoplight next to the big water tower. Turn left onto Wood River Avenue. Go north 1/2 mile until you see the Roundhouse on your right. continue past the Roundhouse, swimming pool and high school. Turn right on the first street past the high school (Chick Summers Dr.). Go (1) block, turn right onto Whitelaw Avenue (south). Continue for 1 1/2 blocks to the entrance on your right to the Roundhouse/swimming pool parking lot.
From Missouri via Hwy 270: If you are traveling from Missouri to Illinois on 270 across the Chain of Rocks Bridge, turn north on the first Illinois exit (Rt. 3). Go (7) miles north to Rt. 143 in Wood River. Turn right onto Rt. 143. Go over the railroad overpass. Go (1) more block to the second stoplight next to the big water tower. The is located at 633 North Wood River Avenue, Wood River Illinois 62095 which is 1/2 mile north of Wood River's downtown area where the big water tower stands at Route 143 and Wood River Avenue. It is next to the East Alton-Wood River High School and Aquatic Center swimming pool sharing the same parking lot as the Aquatic Center. The entrance to the parking lot is on Whitelaw Avenue located 1 block east of Wood River Avenue.
