"Swing Kids" dance classes are held every Wednesday, every week and year round.
Anyone wanting to take a beginner swing dance class need not sign up in advance. Just show up at the Wood River Roundhouse the first Wednesday of any month. We ask students to come (10) minutes early the first night to fill out a small sign-up sheet.
It's always best to start a class at the beginning of the month, but anyone is welcome to come to any class on any Wednesday even if it's just to watch to see what we are all about.
Basic classes always start at 6:30 p.m. Starting in February 2012 for those who cannot attend the early 6:30 p.m. Basic Classes, we have added some Basic Beginner Classes that start at 7:45 p.m. Theses 7:45 p.m. Basic Classes will be in the months of February, April, June, August, October and December.
