Leslie Williams - Instructor
Leslie has been a member of four different swing dance clubs and has attended and supported eight different swing dance clubs since he started social swing dancing in 1978. In 1991, Leslie was fortunate enough to be involved in the creation of a new organized St. Louis Imperial Swing Dance syllabus. He became a certified instructor and has taught this program since March 1992. Leslie has preserved, promoted and improved this swing dance program since that organizational landmark. Since 1992, Leslie has been building a music library compatible with the St. Louis Imperial style swing dance and is currently the D. J. for all "Swing Kids" events. In June 2001, Leslie brought the St. Louis Imperial style swing dance program to the city of Wood River, Illinois to further preserve, promote and expand the St. Louis Imperial style swing dance.
